1. Role of FIX IT
FIX IT is a marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers. EMPOWR (Pty) Ltd operates the platform and holds payment on your behalf. The trade service itself is performed by the independent provider.
2. Booking & payment
When you approve a quote, the amount is authorised on your payment method and held by FIX IT. Funds are released to the provider on confirmed completion. The platform & protection fee is shown to you before you confirm.
3. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation and refund outcomes follow the rules published on /legal/cancellation and /legal/refund in force at the time of your job.
4. Your conduct
Provide accurate information, keep our providers safe, and use the in-app chat during active jobs. Please see our Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy for the full expectations.
5. Consumer rights
Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or the Protection of Personal Information Act.
