1. Workmanship warranty
Providers warrant their workmanship for a defined period after Customer sign-off. The applicable period depends on trade and Job type and is disclosed on the Quote before you approve. The statutory implied warranty of quality under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act applies in addition to any period stated on the Quote.
2. Parts and materials
Parts and materials carry their manufacturer's warranty. Retain proof of purchase and part numbers from your Job invoice or Completion Report.
3. Raising a claim
Raise warranty claims from the affected Job Card or via /support. The Provider is contacted first; if the matter is not resolved, our disputes team mediates. Where the Provider does not respond within the platform SLA, FIX IT may reassign remedial work at the Provider's cost per the Provider Agreement.
4. Exclusions
The workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party modification, wear and tear, or work performed off the FIX IT platform.
