1What is it?
Banking verification confirms that the account receiving your earnings genuinely belongs to you or your registered company. It is a fraud control and a payout-accuracy control at the same time.
2Who needs it?
- Every provider who will receive a payout
- Any provider changing bank, branch or account number
3Who doesn't need it?
- Nobody. Unverified banking means earnings accrue but are not released.
5Why is it important?
A single wrong digit sends money to a stranger's account, and recovery is rarely possible. Verification also stops account-takeover fraud, where an attacker changes payout details on a legitimate provider account.
6Benefits
- Earnings released on the standard payout cycle
- A Banking Verified badge on your provider profile
- Protection against payout fraud and account takeover
7Step-by-step guide
- 1Open Business Centre, then Banking.
- 2Capture the account holder name exactly as it appears on your bank confirmation letter.
- 3Select your bank and enter the account number and account type.
- 4Use the bank's universal settlement branch code — not the branch-specific code printed on old stationery.
- 5Upload a bank confirmation letter less than three months old.
- 6Submit and wait for the verified status before expecting a payout.
- 7Re-verify any time your banking details change.
8Supporting documents
- Bank confirmation letter (stamped or digitally issued), less than three months old

14Frequently asked questions
My account shows Unverified even though I saved it. Why?
Saving the record is not verification. The most common blocker is a branch-specific code where the universal settlement code is required, or a holder name that differs from the confirmation letter.
Can I use a family member's account?
No. The account holder must match your verified identity or registered company.
What happens to earnings while I am unverified?
They accrue against your account and are released once banking is approved.
15How FIX IT verifies this
- The branch code is validated against the bank's universal settlement code at capture time — an invalid code is rejected before the record is stored.
- Our reviewer compares the holder name, account number, bank and account type against the uploaded confirmation letter.
- The holder name must match your verified identity or your verified registered company.
- On approval the record is marked verified with a timestamp, and the payout engine releases settled earnings.
- Any later edit to banking details automatically clears the verified state and re-queues the record for review.
